dan and i just read that passage in jeremiah about the queen of heaven recently. we thought with sadness about the same veneration of mary as you.

Sobering isn't it? All the more reason for us to really celebrate Christ this season...On a lighter note--my tummy remembers your family's yummy Christmas cookies. Hope the coming visit with grandparents is blessed. Love you all.

Mary is such a hero of the Faith, it is a shame that she is worshiped instead of being admired as a beautiful example, as she should be.
I love her song of humility and glory to God and good news for the poor (etc)in Luke 1:46-55.
